Riyadh victory announced that Pioli will no longer serve as the first team coach. We thank Pioli and his team for their hard work over the past season.

Pioli is 59 years old and has coached many Italian teams including Bologna, Parma, Piacenza, Sassuolo, Chivo, Palermo, Lazio, Inter Milan, Fiorentina, Milan and other Italian teams.

Pioli has served as the head coach of AC Milan since October 2019. During his five years, he led the team to 240 games, with a record of 132 wins, 56 draws and 52 losses. In the 21/22 season, AC Milan won the Serie A championship, which is the only championship Pioli won in AC Milan.

In September 2024, Pioli served as the head coach of Riyadh's victory. In the just-concluded season, Riyadh's victory ranked third in Saudi Arabia United, and was postponed to qualify for the second in the AFC Champions League next season.
