Be cautious 🙏 Italian media statistics list of players who died in a car accident: Jota, Reyes, Sirea are listed
After Liverpool striker Jota and his younger brother Andre died in a car accident, Italian media "The Whole Market" counted a list of major players and former players who died in a car accident. The football world is grieving the death of Diogo Jota and his brother, the two are only 28 and 26 respectively. The two players died at night in a serious car accident in the province of Zamora, Spain. Unfortunately, this is not the first time a player has lost his life while driving. Still in Spain, Reyes, who played for Sevilla, Arsenal, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid in 2019, also died in a car accident: the vehicle he was riding in broke out of control and caught fire and died on the spot. Reyes was only 35 years old at the time. Looking back further, there have been many similar tragedies in Italy. In 1967, Gigi Meroni, who was only 24 years old, died in a car accident; in 1989, Juventus star Sirea also died in a car accident at the age of 36.
