The three Italian clubs participating in the negotiations are Ospitaletto, FeralpiSalo, and Lumezzane. The presidents of the three clubs all had about two hours of interviews with Mayor Castletti on Monday night, and the talks were positive. Mayor Castelleti said: "I sat down with the presidents of the three Serie C teams in the province today. Although it has not been finalized and there are still some steps to clarify, I think the three presidents are happy about it. However, some local fan organizations in Brescia oppose the merger of the club and posted slogans outside the city government saying, "Merging is prohibited!" "Squads of this level cannot be bought."
