Football-italia reported that if Dumfries fails to recover from the injury in the national team competition in time, Inter Milan will have three substitutes in the Milan derby at the weekend.

After returning from his national team duties early, Dumfries is still an important injury concern for the Nerazzurri. His ankle injury worries the club's medical team, and playing too early may worsen the injury.
