Sky Sports: Newcastle won t chase Larson after Walter Mad is finalized, and still wants to sign Visa

Sky Sports reported that after £69 million finalized Stuttgart center Walter Mard, Newcastle still wants to sign Brentford striker Visa.

Previously, Newcastle had quoted Visa several times, with a recent offer of more than £50 million, but failed to convince Brentford to release it. Visa himself is eager to join Newcastle and has taken some tough measures. Newcastle is still trying to sign Visa.

With Walter Mad joining, Newcastle is unlikely to continue chasing Wolves center Larson - the two players have very similar characteristics. Both offers for Larson were rejected, with the latest offer amounting to £60 million.
