Olmo was injured during the Spanish national team's training camp in Las Rozas, which will force him to stop training and cast a serious shadow on his ability to participate in FC Barcelona's upcoming games, including the El Clasico against Real Madrid. The Barcelona player exited yesterday's training early at RFEF City after noticing severe discomfort in the soleus muscle of his left leg, an area in which he had been feeling discomfort since the previous day.

According to the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) notification, medical examinations (including MRI) confirmed muscle damage. Therefore, Olmo will miss Spain's next games against Georgia in Elche and against Bulgaria in Valladolid.

The Football Association's medical report revealed that the Barcelona player "had signs of muscle fatigue when he arrived at the training ground last Monday, as reported by the Barcelona club. Since then, the symptoms have gradually improved through treatment and load management. The player remained in Las Rozas on Friday, where he received treatment from his physiotherapist (the same one he had at Barcelona), and will travel to Barcelona on Saturday. According to Barcelona club sources, there are doubts whether Dani Olmo can participate in the El Clasico, although the club has not ruled out the possibility of his participation. The attacking midfielder's recovery will determine whether he can play in these games, but barring a major accident, Olmo is basically considered unable to recover in time.
