Veteran CJ McCollum made 8 of 12 in the first half, 2 of 4 three-pointers, and 5 of 6 free throws, scoring 23 points. 23 points is the highest score in a half by a Wizards player this season. This is also the second consecutive game in which CJ has scored 20+ in the first half. He is the first Wizards player to achieve 20+ in the first half since Bill in 2021.
