In the second round of the NBA draft, the Hornets selected center Carlke Brenner with the No. 34 draw.

According to previous reports, the Lakers traded upwards and wanted to use the No. 45 pick to choose Kalk Brenner.

Kalke Brenner is 23 years old, 2.16 meters tall, with an arm span of 2.29 meters. He plays as a center. He has played for the team in his fifth season in his junior five years, averaging 34.4 minutes per game, scoring 19.2 points, 8.7 rebounds and 2.7 blocks, shooting percentage of 65.3%, three-point shooting percentage of 34.4%, and free throw shooting percentage of 68.1%.

In a NCAA regular season game this year, Calc Brenner made 20 of 22 shots, scoring 49 points, 11 rebounds and 3 blocks in a single game.
