White: Griffin united the team during his time in the Celtics He is such an amazing player

Recently, Celtics player Derek White talked about his former teammate Griffin in his podcast "White Noise Podcast w/Derrick White".

White said: "Blake (Griffin) was really incredible. That year, he kind of brought our entire team together, and he could get along well with everyone. He could be serious or kidding, it was really great because - this is Blake Griffin! How many times he was selected for the All-Stars and how many times he was the best team - he has achieved so much in the league, but he is still willing to sacrifice."

"He is willing to take the first bus, he is willing to do a lot of things, like a rookie or a young player, and he has no need to do that, he makes the whole team close together. We can stay united because of Blake. Yes, everyone hopes he can come back, I mean, he is really an amazing player," White said.

In the 2022-23 season, Griffin played 41 games with the Celtics, averaging 4.1 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game.
