Colombia Legend criticized Duran: It s time for him to come down from the clouds, and he needs to recognize reality and focus on football

Colombian football legend Fosterino Asprila talked about Colombian international Duran who played for the victory in Riyadh in a recent interview with The Times.

Duran has been criticized recently for his behavior and attitude. Duran started in the World Cup qualifier against Peru but was absent from claiming injuries in the next match against Argentina. This situation, coupled with rumors of tension in the locker room, raises doubts about their career commitment and maturity.

Asprila said: "He needs to recognize reality and focus on football."

"When you are young but start making big money, your mind may be at work. The key is to help him find the right position and perform better in public."

Asprila emphasized that the real challenge facing Duran is not on the court, but on his attitude: "Being character and being unpolite are two different things. People accuse him of his behavior, not his skills."

Asprila also shared an anecdote from his career: he was once excluded from the 1994 World Cup primaries. He did not act impulsively, but chose to communicate with the coaching staff: "I don't agree (that decision), but I know how to talk."

Asprila also said: "Duran must remember where he came from, to return to his roots, he should come down from the cloud. Think about how much effort he put in to reach his position today. Everything he won is just gain, and it was exchanged for blood and sweat, and no one gave it to him for free."
