De Zerbi: Marseille decided not to want Rabiot after the conflict, and the players had no intention of backing down

Marseille head coach De Zerbi was interviewed by the Italian media "Corriere della Sera" and talked about the conflicts within the team that led to Rabiot's departure from Marseille.

He once admitted that he hugged Rabiot more times than he hugged his son in the past year.

"Yes, just like Foggia ten years ago, the football here fits my style very well. I am not sure if I am the coach they want, but Marseille is an ideal place for me because the value it gives to football can make social conflicts forgotten in 90 minutes."
