According to the Polish media "TVP SPORT", Szczesny's contract has expired and is still waiting for Barcelona to renew his contract.

Schchensni's contract with Barcelona officially expired on June 30, 2025. The Polish goalkeeper is still waiting to sign a new contract with Barcelona, ​​but many signs indicate that he is likely to remain in Barcelona's team.

The former Polish goalkeeper is currently a free agent and is theoretically free to sign with other clubs. However, the 35-year-old is expected to still play for Barcelona, ​​where Frick coaches.

Barcelona strengthened the goalkeeper position in the summer and introduced Joan Garcia.
