According to reports, Messi plans to start his trip to India in December 2025, with the itinerary including four cities: Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Mumbai and New Delhi. Messi's four-city tour will include unveiling a 21-meter-high statue, participating in the GOAT Cup event, teaching master classes with children, and meeting with Indian Prime Minister Modi.

The relevant arrangements have been finalized, and Messi is still waiting for the official announcement. A person familiar with the matter revealed: "(the event) has been finalized, and we are waiting for Messi's official announcement and may be announced on his social media soon."

Messi's trip to India has planned its itinerary

December 12: Arriving in Kolkata (10 pm).

December 13 (Kolkata): 9 am - Meeting; unveiling of the 21-meter statue; 12 noon to 1:30 pm - Eden Stadium to participate in the GOAT concert and GOAT Cup; evening of December 13: Private event of the Chantigram Adani Foundation of Ahmedabad.

December 14 (Mumbai): CCI meeting at 3:45 pm; GOAT concert at 5:30 pm Wankehud Stadium.

December 15 (New Delhi): Meet Prime Minister Modi; GOAT concert at Kotra Stadium at 2:15 pm.

This trip will be Messi's return to India since 2011, when he led Argentina to a 1-0 victory in an exhibition match against Venezuela at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata.
