Tuti: Inter Milan may repurchase A-Stankovic, but it is more to retain than to sell

According to a report from Tuttosport, Inter Milan may repurchase Stankovic.

This summer, Inter Milan sold A-Stankovic to Bruges of Belgium for 9.5 million euros, but still retained the right to repurchase him in the next two years (i.e., the summer of 2026 and 2027). The price of the buy-back is very high: 23 million euros at the end of this season and 25 million euros at the end of the 2026/2027 season. Nonetheless, Inter have not ruled out investing the money again as Stankovic fulfills his promise to become one of the most promising young midfielders in European football.

Because if Inter Milan decides to bring Stankovic back to the home team, there are two main reasons. First of all, as an important midfield substitute, he may not become a starter immediately, but he will definitely be Calhanoglu's replacement and successor, although his style is different. Secondly, economic factors cannot be ignored. Stankovic is attracting the attention of many clubs, especially Premier League clubs Tottenham and Newcastle.
