Lakers official: Adu Tiero was sent to the South Bay Lakers and has been allowed to conduct confrontation training

The Lakers officially announced today that forward Adu Tiero will be transferred to the G League affiliated team South Bay Lakers.

Tiero is the sixth overall pick in this year's second round. Since being selected by the Lakers, he has not played on behalf of the team due to injury.

Later, the Lakers officially released an update on Tierro's injury:

Lakers forward Adu Tierro has been allowed to conduct on-court confrontation training. The next step in his comeback process is participating in 5-on-5 activities. In the next week, he will be gradually included in the team's training plan, including joint training with the South Bay Lakers.
