MiTi: Roma may introduce Zirkzee in the winter window and return Evan Ferguson on loan

"Gazzetta dello Sport" reported that Roma may introduce Manchester United forward Zirkzee in the winter window and return Brighton forward Evan Ferguson on loan.

It is reported that Roma is planning to introduce Manchester United's fringe player Zirkzee during the January transfer window in order to add more reliable offensive options. Zirkzee has been linked with a number of Serie A teams including Inter Milan and Napoli this summer. The former Bologna striker has played just 15 minutes in the Premier League since the start of September and has fallen behind Sheszko and Cunha in United's pecking order.

However, since Manchester United paid a high fee when signing Zirkzee before, they are unlikely to let him go with a permanent transfer fee in the winter window. However, the Dutch forward is eager to increase his chances of being selected for the national team to participate in the World Cup squad, so he is open to leaving Old Trafford on loan in the second half of the 2024-25 season.

There are two players, Dov Bick and Evan Ferguson, in the center of Roma's center line. However, since the beginning of this season, the two have only scored 1 goal in the league together.
