reporter Sacha Tavolieri reported that Bruges player Odonez was absent from training and wanted to join Marseille.

reporter said: "Joel Odognez strongly hopes to join Marseille. The Ecuadorian player missed training at Club Bruges today, in order to show his position of hoping that the clubs of both sides will reach a transfer agreement. The personal agreement between the player and Marseille is not expected to be an obstacle."

21-year-old Odognez plays as a defender. He has played once in the Bruges this season and scored one goal.
